In Summer 2011 and we have the opportunity to film some of the holiday accommodation at the Barnes Brinkcraft site. Although it was a little difficult to find, it is was well worth struggling through the busy village of Wroxham that has been taken over by the famous store ‘Roys’, to find these tranquil and relaxing holiday let’s.
The boathouse we viewed was both clean and well kept, and you could see their attention to detail was paramount. The property was spacious and had an amazing balcony overlooking the broads, and quickly you will find yourself drifting into a relaxing mode. If you want a little more adventure, Wroxham Barns and BeWilderwood are very short journey away.
The boathouse has all the amenities that you would expect and also boasts a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable and (as I failed to mention in the film above) they each have an en-suite bathroom. This is an ideal property for a small family of four or maybe a small party of friends.
If you book outside of 22nd July-5th September you get a free day boat thrown in to the deal. And even if you do book in those dates, Barnes Brinkcraft will give you a 10% discount on their “normal hire terms”. TheBroads.TV team will be taking a day boat out shortly to show our viewers what you can do on the broads in a day.
However we did get the opportunity to take a Day Boat out for a couple of hours and suddenly the hassle and bustle of our normal lives transformed into a gentle river journey, away from roads and into amazing views with stunning wildlife. It is very clear why this part of the country is so attractive to holiday makers and why so many people return to the broads each year.
